Almost everything about Linux is free, so you're in luck.

There are quite a few free tutorials and books available online about linux. It helps if you know what version you're using... Here are some suggestions though:

Learn by doing.

If you do not have a Linux computer, then try getting a knoppix disk and BOOT your computer from CD each time that you want to use it.

i learn best by doing. get a linux version and play around with it. search linux forms for solutions to your problems and so forth.

Ask people around you as to whatever you want to learn. Or the way you are doing right now, the web. Finally research, go to library and read books. I hope this helps.

Go to UBUNTU.com and order the free linux cd my advice is order alot and sell the rest you don't need. Its completely free and the best part is its legal so UBUNTU.com enjoy.

You should not use software if you dont know how to use it..
use the tutorial's thats what they are their for http://www.lynax.de.ms/ ..or go here
most coolage courses use windows xp this is why lynax is free to download it is all trial and error on how you use it..
