I have some money I'd like to donate to charity. Prefer the Africa support thing, to the neediest. Monthly. My problem is that what I search is always affiliated with a religion. I don't wish to spread Christianity/Islam.etc. What options are left (tax deductable)?

Thank you both. Will contribute, though the 1st one only has U.S./U.K./Canada tax site, not so important, just want to help. If anyone knows another, with letters or something personal to educate my children, please let me know.

A lot of their support comes from religious organizations, but they have no agenda except to feed hungry people, and a donation of $15 turns into $450 worth of food.

I suggest that you donate your money to the ryans well foundation. I would reccomend the charity orgs that I use but theyre muslim ngos and even though theyre not used to promote Islam and to soley help muslims (which I am) I understand what ur trying to say. The Ryans well foundation is really excellent and the money is used to build wells in Africa. Visit the websit, read his story and I assure you you would be convinced. www.ryanswell.ca

Sponsor a child directly. Try something like this, you may have to research the background, but look at the effect on the child.
