Saw Palmetto alters / balances your hormones. But don't use if you are pregnant or nursing, or on birth control pills.

Treatment would depend on the cause. I have a bit of a problem with it because of PCOS. It's a hormone imbalance. In theory, I should be able to take birth control pills to balance the hormones, but since I am also in menopause, I'm uncomfortable messing with the hormones. I just shave my mustache. It's not that pronounced anyway.

Oh yes, my mother has that problem, as so do I. I don't take hormones, I take a razor to it. Had the hubby show me how to keep from getting razor burn on my face; the same technique I use on my legs doesn't work well on the face. I do not like the idea of taking pills and avoid it as much as I can.

Do you know the cause of the problem? Have you had it checked out? Or is it hereditary.

Try to find the answer to the above before trying any remedy and check out:
