Don't sweat the idiots hon... NO ONE in this country understands poverty that grave and that kind of desperation is foreign to the people who say such things...
I'd feel bad for this country if anything were ever to happen that we couldn't get ourselves out of... (I'd be on my way to Japan personally) and being that there are madmen with weapons all over right now... I'd think rather than yap. Never know how life is going to go. If we were ever on the balls of our asses... I would imagine Mexico would be a country we would go to for help in fighting?
People go nuts when we have gas shortages, can you actually imagine any american (one having known nothing but a lifetime of privlidge and freedom) having to revert back to their more primal human structures? It would be laughable to see how a good golf game works in with having to get dirty and defend your country...
Most americans can't even plant a garden, or filter water or do very much of anything needed to survive in case of a war or an emergency. We are all interdependent and trust the government exclusively to keep us in our decadence and our luxury. Therefore we have no right to judge another country that lacks that kind of government support. It is not the common working Mexican citizens fault that they are oppressed to such an extreme. We should be happy to help them considering.
"To whom much is given, much is required..." The Bible
When people talk, and observe and live closer to what they only otherwise judge from distances. Then they come to understand. We need more social experimentation like the guy that does those 30-days shows and less accusation and blame.
Personally... I woud love to see the rich fall a notch or two. It would be rather interesting to even things out again like in the crash in the 40's. Im certain it was the rich that jumped out windows when the market fell... The poor just sucked in their guts, tightened their belts, adjusted and hustled... they were used to it.
People have got to remember... Not all citizens ancestors came through legal channels and if the country was so very concerned with border patrol, they would have more policing along the coast of Oregon and California... There is 1 border officer for the ENTIRE state of Oregon!
It is rediculous all around.

Keep it up and pretty soon there will be Americans trying to break out of this country. This whole issue is ridiculous and hiding the real "trick" which is to keep Americans here. Tried to get a passport lately? Or even visit Canada? Or even cash a $20 check at the bank the check is drawn upon?
Each "protection" this administration administers puts us that much closer to a police state and a state of complete lack of privacy. Which if I recall, (AND I DO) is completely against the Freedoms afforded to us in the Bill of Rights. I am really tired of being protected, all these systems in place but rarely do Police or any government agency STOP an act of violence or aggression BEFORE it happens. It is always AFTER the fact. Ever been burglarized? What happened? Chances are good that the only thing that happened was the police (if they bothered at all) collected evidence but didn't solve the case or get your stuff back. All that normally happens is YOU install burglar alarms, which is the most comprehensive way to avoid being a victim, YOU take responsibility for your own safety and protection. In a manner that is not paranoid but pro-active.
Peace.

I couldn't have expressed it better than Dar just did.I would do anything for my family but I would also accept the consequences of my actions and not demand things from the people/country I am stealing from.
I am not without compassion and concern,I know the horrendous conditions that some of the illegals are
being forced by poverty to live in.And I want to help I really do,but how do you think we Americans feel when we are called names, disrespected and our nations symbol desecrated by the people that want our help?
How do you think we feel to read what the founder of La Raza says about white people must die and its OK to go ahead and kill them?Do you think that theses people are helping the plight of the illegal ?Its very difficult to read the writings of these radical Marxists groups and not feel anger surging thru me.And the posts on here that keep repeating the mantra that Mexicans are going to take over the US and all the other unrealistic rhetoric on this forum
If you want people to feel sympathy for your cause, this is not the way to get it.It doesn't make me afraid it only makes me more resolved to stop illegals from coming to this country for any reason..

I suppose if things were really dire I might to immigrate illegally, as is the case for many African immigrants trying to enter Europe. Hundreds have drowned trying to reach Europe. If the risk of death on the sea is more acceptable than life at home, I'd say things are pretty dire at home.
I don't know that the situation is as dire in most of Mexico, though many have died in the desert trying to cross into the US. And given the proximity of the US with its much stronger economy, the relative ease of entering the country and finding work and the relatively low costs of getting caught , I think it's not at all surprising that illegal immigrants keep coming here.
If I were a desperately poor African or Latin American and I knew my family might be made substantially better off if I immigrated and sent money home, I might have a try.

No, I would push for reforms in my own country before going illegally to another's country.
As for the poor in Mexico; they should say enough and demand better wages and treatment. Mexico has a tremendous amount of natural resources that can be used. The problem I see with the country is that wealth is too concentrated in the hands of a few people.

Don't you think it would be better that the citizen of that country that are coming here illegally, stay in their country and demand from their government to repair, invent, create, laws that help their citizen so they don't have to immigrate or do jobs in other countries that are denigrating for them.. Do you think that it will be better and easy- er to demand from their government, especially when that country is the richest in Latin America, like Mexico and the 13th world wide. A country with oil and their citizen live like an African country, extremely poor. Do you think that fair for the Mexicans or the American people. I don't..

A person who abandons their nation of origin is a coward.
For over 500 years, Native Americans have been systematically killed, actively hunted down, culturally stripped, forced to assimilate, starved, beaten, families have been separated, religion has been outlawed, until the 20's we werent even provided with American citizenship.
Yet, for all that has been done to us, Native Americans have the highest enlistment rate of all ethnicities in the entire armed forces of America. That is pride.
We never abandoned our land, we found a way to continue surviving on it, no matter the hardships we have been forced to endure. We have always been here, and we will always remain. This is our land, we are a part of it.
I would rather be killed than abandon my country. I have no respect for cowards.

get out of my country!!!
it's people like you that is causing our country to fall apart.
this is an old question that has been asked 100 times over.
the answer is always the same by everyone.
Any and all "real" American citizen would not do that because, we know how to fight for whats ours and figure out how to get what we need. We don't have to steal it from someone else.
All those boohoo stories don't cut it for me. I don't want to hear about someone else's country. We have our own problems to deal with. We don't need a bunch of snot nose people coming over here, breaking our laws, stealing from us and expect us to feel sorry for them.
Maybe if they stood their ground and fought back and tried to fix their own problems than the Americans would help them out...but, with the way they are doing things, by hurting us...........FORGET THEM and their SOB AS$ STORY.!!!
