I think his attention will be more on if you will say yes or not.
If you do say "yes" then you could be wearing sweat pants with a mustard stain and he'd probably be fine with that.

See if you havn't given enough info for me to choose the perfect outfit. There are many variables for example what is your size? what do you commonly wear? what is your hair like and how do you usually wear it? I myself would make a dress out of flowers, or dress up as his favourite girl idol, or as a kitten or bunny or even hire a costume- but thats me, not many people like my instincts. Firstly, I can tell you without further information that a beautiful matching lingerie set is required. If you are short (I am - get some heals or platforms) Do you want to shock and surprise him? or just play it safe? colours matter white if you want to be seen as pure, black (naughty but sophisticated) green to emphasise your natural feminine side, pink for the girl next door look, red for it's confident envoking attention grabbing qualities - so when you walk into that restraunt every man there cannot take his eyes off you and your man will be getting that ring on your finger asap to stop the competition, also this will save alot of awkward moments "will he, won't he?" should I shouldn't I? "will she say yes - what if she doesnt etc." I will go looking at some catalogues, if you really want my help then try a little more detail - but above all remember if he has already made the plans he loves you! no matter what you wear.
