Scholars have been arguing the "year of his death" for centuries, because of inaccuracies in records, etc. But the early church members knew because they had the Apostles with them who could literally count backwards to the exact date. So let's assume that their traditional count somewhat matches the calendar and that Christ was crucified at the Passover in 33 or 34AD.
As to His return, the scriptures record that he would come down "in like manner" to his Ascension, that is, in human form because that is how he was resurrected and took up his body again, only immortalized. So he will descend visibly, but it also states that he will come in the clouds of glory with many angels descending with him to usher in the millenial age.
My favorite picture of this is at the URL below, and was commissioned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

AD started after death. After Jesus died on the Cross. This would be a guestimation of the year he died on the cross.
Also there are different calendars. So the exact date would be recorded at different times. The Roman Calendar or the Lunar calendar. But there is Roman record of the death of Jesus on the cross.
I have just read that when we see Jesus it will be like the vision of Jesus that John saw in Revelation 1. But not exactly. That will be the rapture. Then the marriage supper in heaven, and trouble on the earth for those who are left behind, and Antichrist rule, etc...
There are some biblical verses that come to mind. He will discend like He ascended. He will come like lightening (sun rising) from the east to the west. He will be riding on the white horse as King of Kings & Lord of Lords with the armies of heaven. So these seem to be different times of appearances.
When He comes to rules to earth for the millinnium, He returns in His resurrected body with His resurrected followers & He will look like He does in His resurrected body & is similar to how He looked when He walked the earth & is how He looked when He raised from the dead.

He died in the year 33 of our common era. He is a spirit now and will remain one. His coming refers to the time when he will turn his attention toward the earth to cause God's will to be done here in the same way that it is done in heaven. No one knows exactly when that will happen but the governments now ruling will still be ruling when it happens (according to the Bible). The first visible sign we will see is that the governments will close the false religions. The Bible says God will cause them to do this.

it's hard to say. either he was born around 0 AD or died around 0 AD. i don't think anyone knows for sure. when he comes, i think he will take his human form, except it will be glorified, meaning perfect, except He will still have the scars in His hands and feet and side. He will come with the sound of a trumpet and a loud shout, and as far as i know He will descend in a cloud with believers who have died, but i'm not exactly sure about that, you might want to look it up.

A.D. really means Anno Domini - literally 'the year of our Lord" Here's what the encyclopedia says:
ERA [era] period of historic time. In geology, it is the name applied to large divisions of geological process, e.g., Paleozoic era (see geology ). In chronology an era is a period reckoned from a fixed point in time, as before or after the birth of Christ—before Christ, BC; Anno Domini [year of the Lord], AD The points best known for Western history are the creation of the world (Jewish, equivalent to 3761 BC; Byzantine, 5508 BC); the founding of the city of Rome [753 BC; year marked A.U.C. for ab urbe condita (from the founding of the city)]; the Hegira , the flight of Muhammad from Mecca (AD 622; abbreviation descr='[AH]'); and the founding of the Olympic games in ancient Greece (776 BC; time in Olympiads). Some people use C.E. (originally, Christian era, now common era) and descr='[BCE]' (before common era) in place of AD and BC, respectively. Since in different calendars years are of different lengths and do not begin on the same day (see calendar ), several factors have to be used in changing the year of one era to that of another, and even with conversion charts there are still difficulties. Because of poor time calculation in earlier times, there may be anomalies in dating. Thus, the beginning of the Christian era, originally fixed probably by Dionysius Exiguus , was set a little too late. Therefore the actual birth of Jesus must be dated a little earlier, probably in 4 BC The term epoch is often confused with era in writing.
So basically, since our calendar is flawed, Jesus was probably born 4 BC and died 33 years later, 29 AD.
The form Jesus takes is described in Revelation 1:12-16
12I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, 13and among the lampstands was someone "like a son of man,"[a]dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. 14His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. 15His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. 16In his right hand he held seven stars, and out of his mouth came a sharp double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.

Jesus is not going to come back as human being again. He did this because his God sacrificed him like a sacrificial lamb for our sins.
He will come back to get rid of Satan and his demons on earth and bring peace for a thousand years. Then Satan will be let loose again before he is killed. Then eternal peace for those who are left is given.

JESUS died in HIS 33rd year of life.
The calendar started after HIS death. AD (After Death).
But, before his death is calle BC (before CHRIST).
HE will come as HIMSELF, in the clouds, and will only be seen by HIS Church, (which are HIS Followers). None other will see HIM I believe as we will be taken in the twinkling of an eye...
I wish you well..
Jesse
