My favorite is Oakland (OAK). It's really easy to get to by car or public transportation and is small. I love the fact that it doesn't take all day to walk through the terminal. There are clear signs to find the gates. I also like that the buildings are only two stories, so there is less confusion in trying to find where I need to go. London's Heathrow was horrible! It's large, dark, and takes forever to get from one terminal to the next for connecting flights. As far as lost luggage, I don't know. Knock on wood, I've been lucky so far. In all my travels, I haven't had a lost or delayed bag yet.

I have many. :)
Atlanta is a good airport, busy 24/7 tho.
Chicago is a great airport. Very organized when everything runs fine.
Favorite for looks and cleanliness is Orlando. I love that airport!!!
And of course DIA. I love that airport! (course i live in colorado)
I hate Boston! People are grouchy and snobby in Boston. The airport was trashy, the construction delayed flights, and it was just a horrible experience!

I can't believe BOS and ATL made the list. Quite frankly, those would be on the bottom of the pile for me.
Best large airport would be SEA, as it has the best food (at airport prices of course). Lots of variety, and actually tasty. They have a very nice central atrium where most of the restaurants are. All the terminals are connect behind security, plus there's an underground tram that's very efficient.
Best smaller airport in my experience is PDX - Portland. Very clean, efficent, and the BEST food I've had. Plus, the food vendors are NOT allowed to raise their prices above the prices in the city, so you can actually get quality food at a decent price. I got a huge chicken caesar wrap with pasta salad for $5. Oh, and free WiFi.

Epply Airfield in Omaha, Nebraska is really nice. I fly in and out of there 3 or 4 times per month and have had nothing to complain about.

Newark, definately, nice and small and easy to navigate around. I absolutely detest JFK and would never go there again. People are rude and there are no signs ? I quite liked Dallas airport in Texas too.

Surprisingly Sacramento, I live in Northern California. It takes me about the same amount of time to get to SFO(San Francisco), OAK(Oakland), and SMF(Sacramento), and Sacramento is the best. My flight has never been delayed, the parking is convienient, and its never crowded. I used to fly through SFO, but now I always fly SMF.

Cincinnatti is the best "big" airport I've been through in the US--modern, efficient, easy to navigate, well-marked, lots of flight options through there. But my *favourite* is always my home airport, because, well it's home.

Boston, because it's pretty new, clean, nice TSA, they have never lost my luggage, and it has a lot of on time flights, a lot are sometimes early.
