How do you know your doctor is no help ? What do you expect from her ? She sees this type of condition (a viral infection) all the time, and there is no effective medication to treat it. It will get better in a few days on its own, or turn into a bacterial infection that can be treated with antibiotics. In the meantime go to the chemist and get some Benilin and some throat lozenges, and stop whining.

You may be developing a chest infection, which an X-Ray will detect. Alternatively you might just be a namby-pamby softy who is being a pain in the nether regions.

chest xray would show pnuemonia which is what it sounds like she lis thinking. Sounds like to me you are having sinus trouble it is causing fluid build up in your ears causing the buzzing, post nasal draingage which is causing your sore throat and may have gone intoi your lings which would cause pneumonia. Fenugreek is an all natural herb that can really help with sinuses. I would start with this considering sinuses are the source of your problem. then I would look into why your sinuses got this way in the first placde. For me too much sugar causes it every time. You may want to try cutting sugar out of your diet.

You seem to have a common cold which should resolve in about a week. Have patince with your doctor since he cant do anything with a viral infection, which you seem to have except give you supportive therapy.
You should be much better by the time you read this.
