Both are correct.
'Nobody is perfect' means nobody is perfect.
'Practise makes perfect' is to motivate people to persevere, but practise shows that nobody lives up to a stage of perfection.

There is no confusion , contradiction or paradox.
You must keep on practsing so that perfection can be achieved, but even if you are not able to achieve full perfection, there is consolation that no one can be perfect.

the correct saying is actually "perfect practice makes perfect" - just plain old practice doesn't make perfect.

we practice to get better, not to be perfect, but to perhaps strive to be perfect!
