I just recently started using baking soda on my blemishes and it works wonders! What else can I use baking soda for?

room deodorizer and rug
to scrub
clean porcelain sinks and tubs
to absorb odors in your shoes
neutralize battery acid spills
soothe bee strings when mixed with vinegar
keep diaper and garbage pails fresh

to wash clothes
to clean crayon marks off a surface
to clean up vomit
to relieve sunburn mosquito bites and itch from chicken pox put in bath water

Yes, if you have an acidic ingredient to add to it. Here are a couple of substitutions that should work: Baking powder 1 teaspoon: 1/4 teaspoon baking soda plus 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar OR 1/4 teaspoon baking soda plus 1/2 cup buttermilk(decrease liquid in recipe by 1/2 cup)

it can be used as a tooth whitening agent.Dip ur wet toothbrush in baking soda and brush as normal. It can also be used as a mouth wash. 2 tsps with 1/2 a glass of water works wonders.
Use it to remove strong persistant smells like the smell of onions on ur hands.
sprinkle a little over food that give u that gassy bloaty feeling. This allows you to enjoy ur food without the after effects.
Use some in the water that u are going to wash your dishes in. It will keep your hands soft despite the amount of dishes that you may wash.
To clean hair brushes and combs: Use a cup of baking soda in boiling water and soak your brushes and combs in it for about 10 mins. Rinse. Baking Soda is a great cleaning agent.
Baking soda is so versatile that I can go on and on.

You can you baking soda for just about everything: Use it with hot water and dish soap to clean bath tubs, sinks, counters, and toilets. Put it in your laundry soap and wash your laundry with it and it will give your clothes a fresh smell this way you won't have to spend alot of money on fresheners. It also takes the static out of your clothes. Put it in your frig. to keep a fresh smell in there continuiosly. You can put it in the kitty litter box to help the odor of the urine. Use it with Laundry soap and hot water to shampoo your carpets. This will take out stains like you wouldn't believe. mix it with flour milk and egg to make biscuits. They are delicious. Like I said almost anything!!!

You could use it to freshen up closets or the fridge. What I do is I use it to freshen up the carpet in my house. I sprinkle baking soda all over the carpet and vacuum. It works wonders.

occassionally brushing teeth , removes stains , also can mix warm water & baking soda & drink for upset stomach, also open in fridge will eliminate any smells ....

really i never heard of that well you can use it for your teeth and for your refrigerator and for many things
