why only ask Catholics?

Don't you think that when others (whatever religion) think good thoughts for you, you won't benefit, whatsoever?

God is within you. He's that close to you.

Moreover, spending quality time with those you love, and those who love you, will help a lot. People who reply on this site can only do so much. your family is there for you. your friends are there for you. God manifests Himself also through persons who can provide sincere comfort and companionship. Godbless.

So sorry you are at an all time low after such a long period of heartache, I'm not a catholic but can and will pray that Jesus draws close to you at this time and you will know His presence in your life in a very real way. Perhaps start by reading the twenty third Psalm - The Lord is my Shepherd and the beautiful footprints poem (See Source). God Bless you and keep you.

Hello there! I know it may be a hard time for you, But you gotta still be positive :) what is the use to be pessimistic? what you gonna gain out of it? you know the answer? i know... NOTHING is the answer cuz it won't get us any far. So lift your head and open your heart and allow god inside you, He has been always near you but you have not realised it yet... trust me Brighter day will come... As they say Justice delays but it does not fails... But you gotta to believe and be willing to... and remember... problems are part of life it's all about learning experiences in order to make us strong and outstanding Men and Women. You have to dealt with it as natural as possible cuz everyday you will have one hitting you. It's kinda the same when you have some "homework" from school... you will have almost everyday... but you cant be over-stressed because of that. It is no drama! what you can do is solving the "homeworks" as it come up and you'll be ok at the end of the day. But not building up till you can't handle it no more... I know it is easier said than done. But it is important for us to think that something out there it is possible even that tiny little hope to help us move forward positively. May the force be with you.... Glod bless you! :)

Pray directly to God - You don't kneed any of that Catholic Crap getting in the way (via Mary, The Rosary, and so on)...

If you don't know how to Pray, or talk to GOD - Then use the Lords Prayer, after all, it is the prayer Jesus, your Lord & Saviour, gave you to use!

NB. The Biblical Jesus was not a Roman Catholic, or even a Christian; he was JEW!

HEy i will pray for you. If you are in a low time, try to pray the rosary daily. It really will help. Whenever I feel that I not close to God, I go to confession.

IF you go a preist and make a general confession, you will feel much closer to God, becuase you will BE much closer to God.
(A general confession means confess everything youve ever done since as far back as you can rememeber, in case youve ever forgotten something in oast confessions. You can make a list of them and take it with you...dont worry about how long it takes)

God bless,
Shane

(also...just ignore everyone on here who is bashing Catholicism...They are misinformed)

I am not Catholic, but I am a Christian - I will pray for you! Done! Have you ever seen the 'Footprints in the Sand' poster? A person, at the end of his life, looks back over his life and sees footprints in the sand. He notices that there are two sets of footprints part of the time, one set the rest of the time. He realizes that the sets of footprints are those of himself and the Lord. He also notices that when times were difficult, is when there were only one set of footprints. He asks the Lord why, when times were rough, did the Lord leave him. The Lord answered, "My Child, I never left you - the reason you see only one set of footprints is because that is when I carried you!"

Through all the rough times, you may not think or feel that God is with you, but when you look back, you'll see He was the only thing that kept you going. Keep up your faith. Jesus loves you more than you could ever know.

For a time, I was confused with my own heartache. In retrospect, what had blinded me stunted my spiritual and emotional maturity for almost a decade. Think of all the friendships I missed starting. The Enemy of God was very active, but subtle. Watch out in your life to see what might be weighing you down. The Enemy relishes in our weakening of faith, so as to decrease our witness to God and his glory. Do you feel doubt in yourself? That is the Enemy working in your life. Do you feel depressed? Again, the Enemy. Seek the Lord in his Word. He is always there for you. I read that God never leaves us; we sometimes leave him. But He is all ears when we pray from our heart a prayer to do His will.

The world is full of distractions. Sometimes the Enemy disguises himself in them. Whether it be in people we want to get to know or admire, or indulgence in a certain activity.

But let your heart be open again. Cry out if you have to. I have had moments of being on my knees, nearly kissing the floor for God's intercession. Start praying a novena (9 consecutive days of prayer). Any one will do. Focus on uplifting your armour against the Enemy and the next time you feel this way, you will be at the ready, your feet steady and your sword held high.

We pray for the asker...
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
