Hello everyone,I have a problem which i hope you help me.You see,I'm a male, and my hair is very weak.It can also get oily after a short time, which is unconvenient in my daily work and such .So i have to wash my hair two times a day,at the morning and the evening.
The real problem is,my sister told me that using shampoo too much will hurt my hair.. But well,I did tell you that my hair is weak, didn't I? It need shampoo to have a smooth look.
So...Is my sister right? (I don't want to be bald, you know..) And if she's correct, can I find any other way to fix this?

If your hair is oily, then it is ok to wash it. Your hair's naturaly oils are important. But if you produce to much of it, then it needs to be washed away.

if you use a mild (non-caustic) shampoo you should be fine. Use less shampoo each time than other people would. The purpose of shampoo (like all soaps and detergents) is to reduce the size of the water molecules so that it can get below the oils and dirt to wash them away. Water does not require much of this agent to react this way positively for your hair.
Keep your hair as short as you can. Every now and again, at night, use a gentle conditioner. These are generally sold in baby departments.

Everything you ingest comes out in your skin and also affects your hair. If you eat greasy food you will have an oily complexion later in life with zits...get my point. Your sis is correct. You can dry your hair and scalp a lot by washing too much. Try Shaklee.net. It's a bit pricey, but I never have these sorts of problems, I've been using shaklee since the 70s. Otherwise watch what you eat. And change in your diet can be the key.

Sometimes if you wash your hair to often it gets even more greasy. Use a good clarifying shampoo made for oily hair or the kinds made to remove build up. Remember to massage the scalp well because its the source of oil.

Try using all natural ingredients to fight greasy hair.

Limes and Kaffir limes are great hair degreaser and deodorizer. Squeeze half of lime on your hair scalp and massage. Then rinse well. Your hair will be less oily and it feels very refreshing.

Apple cider vinegar is also a great clarifying agent for oily hair. Just put 5 table spoons or more on hair scalp, massage and rinse well.

But me sure there is no cuts or wound on your scalp coz these stuff can sting.

Washing the hair too much can put the hair in distress, espeacially for women. If your hair is weak then you need to purchase a shampoo and conditioner with stregthiner, it controls the sculpt and makes the roots of the hair stronger. Try frutis garnier, awesome stuff.

Well shampoo dries out your hair so its best that [[if you do wash it 2 times a day]]that you shampoo and condition the first time and just condition the second!

It is unhealthy for your hair to wash it twice a day. Your sister was right, but you will not go bald from it.
