I dont think its possible to consider something love at first sight. I would call it infatuation at first sight, because when you see someone fro the first time, all you see is there appearence, you dont know there interests, personality, or anything about them, so how can you love them. Infatuation can lead to love, but love at first sight? I dont really think so. Like i met my fiance' in health class, we both new there was something about the eachother and we both knew that we wanted to be with eachother, and after a while we both knew we loved eachother and wanted to spend the rest of our lives together, but if you could actually love someone when you first met them, you'd miss out on all the fun of getting to know eachother.

There is NO such thing as love at first sight. It is a concept dreamed up by romantics who need a way to air-brush that deadly sin they find stirring inside of them. That tingle, that spark, that connection that you feel with a person upon first seeing them? Guess what, that is LUST. It is not, nor can it be, Love. Love is something that is built on far more. Compatibility, understanding, trust, security, respect... None of these are present upon a first meeting, and therefore, by definition, your feeling, however powerful, can not be love. Love at first sight is believed in by people who either don't know, or don't want to admit that the pull of a purely sexual attraction can be that intense. But it definitely can be. And there's not a damn thing wrong with acknowledging that.

I don't believe in love at first sight. I think we become very attracted to someone who seems perfect and become infatuated with or lustful toward that person upon first sight, but love takes time. Love can develop from that infatuation/lust, but it's not there right away.
