I have a huge table i need to work with with lots of columns..
i wonder if there is any way i can work on a certain page horizontaly

Place your cursor at the start of the page you want to make landscape, from the File menu choose Page Setup. You should see Portrait and Landscape in the Setup box. In older editions of Word you need to click on the Paper Size tab to see it.
Click on 'Apply to' and choose 'This point forward'
If you want to revert back to portrait again following the table, place your cursor at the start of the next page and change the option back to portrait and click on Apply to 'This point forward'

go to edit then page format then change it to landscape
