Nothing in the bible has been proven false. By the way, do you know who the father of lies is? Satan. Please do not count yourself in his family by proclaiming lies about the word of God.

Have you ever actually read a bible or are you getting your information second hand? If you take the time to read a bible and actually understand it, so many things that the bible has predicted has happened, and anything its predicted that hasnt happened, will...just give it time. Before you go on preaching that the bible is false and full of factual errors maybe you should take the time to re read it...or atleast have someone explain it to you dear.

Also how about some examples? You say it contains "so many contradictions and factual errors" yet you provide no examples?

If you've read the bible, cover to cover, then no doubt you've read the part that says non believers will never understand the bible because its crypted to them. The bible refers to this as "ever hearing, but never perceiving". You dont understand the bible because you dont want to.

Show us the errors and we'll be able to argue to better. And its the other way around, Science is proving the bible. They found that brick walls can be destroyed by sound, They have proved how every one of the plagues happened. The Bible has also been the inspiration for scientific inventions. The guy who discovered tidal currents is one example.

Post your link http://www.freethoughtdebater.com/tenbiblecontradictions.htm next time. The only real contradiction is the tempting. Old testament tempt was the equivilant of test. The others are just different ways of different authors saying things. Keep in mind that the Bible was written by over 40 authors inspired by God. Each is going to have his own way of saying things. The ark thing just says that he(Noah) took more clean beasts than non. The last one was Jacob wrestling with an angel and said he saw Gods ways. You have to read the verse in context if you are going to acuratly argue the authenticity of the bible. Biblegateway.com is a good place to start. I recomend the KJV since its the most direct and accurate translation

Archaeology supports the geography, the history and the culture explicated by the Bible. Linguistics and semantics support the accuracy of the philosophy found therein. Contemporaneous accounts written by non-Hebrews support the historicity of the main characters delineated, especially after Abraham. And what came before Abraham has nothing to do with historicity. It has to do solely with faith. Accuracy in the scientific sense was neither necessary nor available at the time the Pentateuch was finally written.

Now list those "factual errors". Quote the passages which you claim are contradictory. If you can't or won't, then do be a good little human and peddle your stale bread elsewhere. Thank you.

OK you show me at least five parts in the bible that are false. why do so many people believe in the bible still if so much of it has been proven false. your such a dumb ***. god created this planet. nothing can just evolve by it self. so the part about god created the world is true whether you like it or not.

Most non-believers take it out of context. For a collection of 66 different books written by 40 different authors over a period of 1500 years, it has total consistency of theme & purpose not to mention that its still a #1 bestseller. I don't have enough room here to list all the "proof" but if you read "The Signature ofGod" you will find scientific proof :-)

First off, once you can prove anything is true in the statement you made, maybe you can post an intelligent question about the bible. Second, religion or spirituality is simply a belief in something greater than the self. Can you not just leave it at that?

I have been reading & studying the Bible since 1970, when I gave my life over to God, That is over 36 yrs. & to this day I have not found one contridiction, Nor any of it False. So now the proof of Burden rest with you to bring absolute facts that it is false, With your carnal mind, you will never understand the bible, but the spiritual minded person will understand it

Hi, you may well argue that something is false but proving
it is another thing, perhaps you listen to too much argument, read the life of Jesus with an open mind and see if you really still believe your statement.

You show me which parts have been proven false, and then I'll consider not believing it.

As for the answer below me, NASA already PROVED that that did happen.
