Because when one is good and loves another, they do not let a baby die....... for what ever reason.
People keep saying I am blameing God, but I am not blaming God..I'am confused becuase ,if God did not let baby die then, why did not God let baby live.
Because was it not God that let us have the baby in the first place.?

I'm on the same side has you............ if there was a god then suffering would end. But the so called god squad will say we are being tested to see if can follow the true path. Wot a load of rubbish the bady didn't do anything wrong. Religion is the biggest cause of death and suffering in the world. If i do end up facing god when I die he will get a gobful from me because has an ex-soldier i have seen things that no god would allow.
All we have to do is repect our fellow man.

In order to answer that I would need to know what the baby died of. Did the baby die during sleep? Any number of things could have happened and yes you are blaming God. However, at some point everyone suffers a loss so great that he/ she is caused to question God and their faith in Him. I won't offer the platitudes of God had a purpose for it happening this way because although that is true, it will be a while if ever before you know or understand why that was supposed to happen. Until then you will hurt and be angry I am sure as is also natural. What I can say is that God does feel your pain and suffers with you whether you want His sorrow or not. He still offers his support to you to keep you standing in your grief and giving you the strength to move forward a little stronger every day. I offer my condolences on your loss and hope that someday soon your pain will at least be tolerable enough for you to begin forgiving God and searching for the reason behind His method.

Oh namesake... What can I say? Personally I don't believe in God. However, the presence of a force of good means nothing without a force of bad. So we also invent Satan and blame him for all the bad things, even those within ourselves.

In our western 'sense' the baby died due to reasons biological. Perhaps it was genetics, perhaps pathogens. No amount of faith would have saved the baby. That is one interpretation of events, the empirical one we're increasingly familiar with in these dark times.

I feel that there is much that comes from within us. There are those who use God or gods as an excuse for social action and genocide. As such how can we view a deity as 'good' is bad is done in their name, and essentially all they are is a name and the influence we have on them. I am not sure that the Judao-Christian God was ever meant to delve in to human affairs in such a visible way, although he appears to in the Old Testament. This was an age old problem with the concept, if there is a God and they are good, then why does bad stuff happen?

I think that the church started to look at God more as trying to guide us through life rather than taking away our free will to live it. This is part of a synthesis between nature (and science) and religion. It doesn't work very well though i'm sure. I was confused by the same thing and turned away from religion as a child.

The only way that God can help in a case like this is to reinforce the family bonds that will help the parents to greive and move on. I am sure that there is also some kind of catharsis in praying, but it is events like this that truly test your faith, and if afterwards you still have it, it must be very strong.

Yes brother, God is always good & God always loves us. If not, u wouldn't have stepped in this world. U have to thank God always for giving chance to live in this world.

Human beings can not live without oxygen. So who do u think from where this oxygen is being supplied? Not only oxygen, but also sun, moon, water, plants, animals, rains etc etc., evrything which are required to live in this wolrd. These all are not created by chance. There has to be a creator to control all these.

This life is a Test for human beings. To test which one of us are good in deeds. Allah test human beings in different ways. one person is being tested by letting a baby die. Another person may be tested by letting the baby live. This is just like we r students in a school & teacher is conducting exams to test students. This is upto the students how well can we give our exams.

If u understand this logic u will not get confused.

You wouldn't be able to handle the idea of God being evil; no one can. However, in an omnipotent, omniscient setup, one have to accept that God can both be good and evil in the same stroke, although I tend to believe Her methods are toward benevolent and not malevolent ends.

In order for us to see and accept the good in this world, there have to be some bad. There have to be some ugly, and there have to be some unfair. God doesn't set out to kill babies; it just happens that way by the free will of adults or by disease or by stupid bad luck. It's, unfortunately, the name of the game we live by, that once our hand is dealt to us we must play it out.

I'm not sure why God doesn't miraculously save babies, but I understand why--at least on a fundamental level--She doesn't; She can't hold our hands during life; if She did, then we will just be puppets to Her will and not true beings of free will.

I hope that helps.

I am very sorry about your situation. My mother lost her first baby. I don't know what she was like before that, but I can compare my view of her with what I see in photos of her before that time. She became a very different woman, not so full of life, not so ready to laugh. It is indeed a terrible awful tragedy to lose a child this way.
However, the resurection teaching is a hope offered by the Bible to those who mourn. John chapter 11 describes a resurrection, and shows that eventually a resurrection in "the last day" will take place. Revelation 21 v4 shows that pain, suffering and death will be brought to an end - all those who have died have the hope of being resurrected onto the Earth to be reunited with their loved ones. Be assured of the promised end to all tears of pain. When you are ready, and if he opportunity arrises, I would like to encourage you to consider speaking to one of Jehovah's Witnesses. They have much to syan that has comforted many grieving mothers like my own (who is not one of Jehovah's Witnesses).

God gives people babies as a gift, so that they may learn what absolute, unconditional love is (it's the same as he feels for us) I believe that as far as God sees it, the baby isn't being punished or anything because it's going straight to heaven - a far better place then earth - and you will see the baby again one day.

I quoted Philip Yancey recently in another answer. He wrote in one of his books something like:"Faith is believing in advance something that will make sense in the retrospect".
We have just one view on our reality, but God has much wider picture and He acts according to that. On the other hand, He never promised easy and happy life in this body but He promised us help. Jesus said that we should take his yoke, because it's easy, which means that our faith help us to go trough life no matter how hard it is. And it is hard, for everybody in one way or another. I'm certain that losing a child is one of the hardest things to bare, but that baby was Gods child also, and I believe he or she is with Him already, which is much better place then our world.

True it is hard to understand the goodness and love of God. However these two characteristics are part of his nature. He can choose to give or take life because he is the author of it. He also has a free will and can do whatever he likes. Rest assured that what God does is for the benefit of mankind in bringing them to himself.

Don't you know that when our earth bodies die, we are going back to the place we know and love. It is called 'Home'. Believe it or not. You should research waht 'God' really stands for. It isn't one entity sitting on a judges bench. It is the collective pool of good souls that have gone before us. Figure out who 'God' really is and you will have your answer. I am sorry for your loss. Bless your heart.
