http://www.orclinic.com/specialties/gastroenterology/info/GasPrevention_Diet.html Scroll to the bottom and you will see that "fatty meats" cause gas. I would guess that ground beef falls into this category. Also, consider if you are eating any of the other foods on the list with the hamburger. Might be due to the condiments or side items eaten, rather than the beef.

You did not mention the fat content of the ground hamburger. It might be the fatty content, as there is an acid in fatty beef that helps raise your blood sugar, clog your arteries, and may give gas. I try to get the 7% fat hamburger (also called ground sirloin).

When you cook food, you kill the enzymes in it...even meat...have you tried it without the bun? The bun is what used to cause the gas for me...but I would maybe look into taking a natural enzyme supplement from the health food store...look for one containing HCL...(aka...betain hydrochoride) this is the stomach acid that you NEED to break down proteins. Thats what I did and I have no problems...only I dont eat the bun...LOL

It's caused by poor digestion. It might be because you're not chewing the food well enough. Like someone else suggested, you should try a colon cleanse. In the meantime, take probiotics, enzymes, and get lots of fiber.

Ground meat is most dangerous food. Most chance of illness plus beef has over 250 parasites. Try a colen cleanse as well as pararid and stop eating the ground beef. Either the meat is bad or your body can't handle it.
