I used to pack a half-hoagie with meats and cheese, and either an olivata or pesto spread. And a carton of yogurt and a granola bar, and 4 cans of sparkling water. If you nuke those hoagies, it's like they're hot out of the deli!

Since you have refrigeration and heating capabilities I'd definitely suggest that you make a little extra when you cook your dinners. Freeze lunch size portions so you can grab whatever strikes your fancy on any given day. After a short time you'll have quite a large selection to choose from. You'll have fabulous lunches without spending any extra time preparing them.

Chinese and Indian foods!!! if you do live in Malaysia, instand noodles and 'mamak' [a tiny Indian cafeteria usually set up illegally in particularly allwhere] are everywhere.
It's such a convenience
If you mind to cook for your own, you may take pasta, sandwich + garden salad, mushroom soup...

Variations in sandwiches can be endless. My favorite is turkey slices, swiss cheese, mayo, cole slaw and cranberry sauce on whole wheat bread.
