Students want to know "what's in it for them" if they vote for you. Whether people acknowledge it or not, people want to know whats in it for them.

But, don't make empty promises. Instead tell them you will always present the students needs and be a voice for them back to the school adminitrators.

Be "the voice of the students!"

-----You will be representing your fellow students. Be someone they will want to represent them. They will not want to be represented by someone who will look bad dealing with the teachers, principal, and staff; who will whimp out, for example. They will not want someone who will embarass them. You should wear a coat and tie, if you are a man, even though your classmates do not wear them. Your classmates may well feel they are not good, but they want you to look and act good, like a man, like an equal to the teachers, principal, and staff. Be strong and confident; be a leader. ---Jim
