As far as a marriage relationship, two should take time with lots of questions, endurance. Friendships they come and go, it just depends if your in it for the fame or fun. Yet, the ultimate relationship, is the one that lasts. It can only be obtained through (Agape Love). "Go Figure!"

Depends on what the people are looking for.
Relationships may be based on sex or lust alone (and work out) if the person has a lot of other friends who sort of fit the role of the friendship part from the boyfriend; thus, you don't need the friendship part from your boyfriend because other people give it to you. Recognition of love from the boyfriend is also expressed through sex because it's something that is also emotional and so on.
Or it may be based on friendship because the people feel more compatible with each other and can be more intimate with each other than with their friends so it's more based on friendship. Sex though usually kicks in at some point, so a relationship which is based on friendship will also be boosted by sex.

Good question. You are very right. A couple should always get to know each other as people before getting intimate. If you have a solid friendship, then the sex part will come easy. You will enjoy sharing sex with your best friend. To base a relationship on sex alone is no better than the animals around us. They mate and move on. Humanity would be in deep trouble if that was how we established our society. One of my church leaders once said that the lowest common denominator in human relationships is sex. In other words, any two humans can do sex but not any two humans can be friends and truly care for each other. We need to invest our time and effort into each other and establish a truly caring relationship. When that happens and the man and woman desire to be together more than any other, then they seal the deal with marriage and the sharing of sex is extra sweet because it is with this special person that you love.

yes i definatley think that relationships based around friendship have much better chances of working/lastinng. Lust is something that ofcourse makes a part of a relationship but if a relationship is just made of lust and sex then whats to say boredom wont occur sometime? My boyfriend and I were best friends before we started seeing each other weve been together for almost two years and we have a long distance relationship which means that we've had to have a friend relationship.. it keeps the love there and its great knowing your there for one another. other than having someone who you know just wants you to have sex with. :)

Sexual chemistry is important in any relationship so as building friendship between two people who are in a relationship. It's refreshing to know that you can talk and be open about anything like friends do. A great relationship goes beyond the sheets. To know each other better makes it more lasting and amazing.

Relationships based on friendship or lust is almost the same, be serious in anyone of them and you will get true love but there is 50% more that the guy (in a lust relationship) is just after your body, but if you are very relaxed ( boh chap) in the friendship love, you will get hurt too, more then often, you will hurt him more then he hurts you .

Relationships, based on sex, is good, and it will last, but after a while it gets old, because it is just sex, what happens, is theirs, no communications, can't converse, or have a good discussion. And that is what happens when, their is friendship, you really know the person, you know what they like, you could sit for hours talking, discussing, having fun, and if the sex is good, well, then you really have it all.

Friendship creates a bond like no other...when accompanied by emotional attachment/love.... it is very powerful. Sex is great but unless it is based on love....the relationship is doomed. Thats why in the long run...relationships that develop between frirnds are very strong.
Thats what I am looking for... My very best friend and lover.
