I have a hard question that needs to be answered.

The bible says that God created the garden of eden (it even mentions its location near the euphartes river and the Tigris river) and then adam and eve were banished from there and they went on to live there life and have offspring of there own. As time went on there became more and more people and then countries came about and soceity and communitys are built. religion came from the middel east and spread into europe into rome and all that, then in 1492 Columbus sailed the ocean blue and discoverd the Americas.

So here is my question:
If humans first came into the world in the garden of eden (which is most likly in or near Iraq) then how did Native Americans get to the American continet?

This is a serious question that is standing in the way of me fully believing in God. Serious answers only please

Of course at this point in time, there is no way that we will know for sure. However, there are many people with many theories.

There are genetic links to the Eskimos and the American Indians. So one theory is that they came across the land through the northern part of the northern hemisphere and some kept coming south, trying to seek warmer weather and better places to live.

Another theory is that a ship or many ships may have traversed the Ocean and colonized the Americas. We tend to think of ourselves in the last few centuries as the only people with the ability to travel. However, there have been many ancient peoples that were great shipbuilders and sailors. Not everyone believed the earth was flat back in those days. There is evidence that the Vikings were in North America long before Columbus was born.

While all of this is interesting, I really do not see how there could be any connection with believing in God.??? Isn't the complexity of our bodies, the preciseness of the earth and its ability to sustain itself (always in a precise orbit around the sun, replenishing water, the food-chain & cycle of life), the fact that DNA shows obvious intelligent design and many other items proof enough that things don't just happen?

You have to believe really impossible things to believe anything other than intelligent design. Where is the example of life coming from non-life? Where is an example of any species turning into a different species? Where is an example of humans being anything other than human? Why is it that humans have the ability to think in abstract (examples - thinking about a god, our future, our past, what will happen after we die) and other animals do not ?

If you really the seek the truth and figure out what makes real sense, not fantasy, you will find what you are looking for. Use the ability to reason that God has given us. Don't rely on the people with an agenda to tell you what is wrong or right.

ok, first of all the bible does not tell us of every detail throughout its history. just certain parts that we might get an idea of what happened throughout history.
so,my point is
man came to be in the garden of Eden-yes-but God also created other places at the same time that the garden of Eden was created like the land of nod that cane was banished to when he killed able.
if u keep reading the story in the bible then it will also tell u that Adam and eve had another child named Seth and that other things that happened to them that people don't mention.
so, my point is
as time went by (just as we do now) people developed into being more civilized and when the time of the Europeans came to explore new world the Americans were discovered. even thou there were already people here(the Indians)
so, how did the Indians get her? God made them here before other people reached the land. the only thing is that Christopher Columbus wrote things down to be put into our history pages but the Indians didn't so, who do we honor in discovering America?
Christopher Columbus
the Indians
or
God

A) Literalism is for the pig-ignorant and proud of it.

B) What makes you think that Hebrews 4 millenia ago had a better concept of anthropology, biology, geography and evolution than we do?

C) Deep in the Rift Valley, nearly 4 million years ago, there was a primate species. Because of changing climate, it had to cease being a strictly arboreal creature. It came down from the trees. It became upright in its posture. Its thumbs became more opposable. At some point, God went "ZAP!" and a female became a human being. Don't know when exactly, but best guess is a million years ago. From that point on, that particular species had a soul. You want the biology of it, look to mitochondrial DNA. Whoever that female was,( you may as well call her Eve, and her son, Adam). From them are ALL of humanity descended. Again, the mitochondrial DNA proves this biologically.

D) Once the population got going good, they began to move out from the Rift Valley. And over the hundreds of millenia made their way to all corners of the globe.

E) Stop thinking in terms of a 16th century bishop's not-so-bright idea. The world was NOT created in 4004 BC!

Scientist even believe that at one time the world was one large land mass. This mass was on several plates that held it together. And at some point the plates shifted and migrated to their current positions. If that is so then people and animals and plants would have therefore been split onto different regions. That would explain why some animals can only be found on certain continents. They simply did not exist on whateve plate shifted away from the one they were on. God could have done this in order to give different languages and colors a chance to evolve.

It is said that anything that does, or has ever existed in the physical world, exists in the spirit world. Some say that the human form and Eden existed in the spirit world first. And the rivers named, exist in Heaven too. Eden, (paradise), Heaven,
(paradise)?
The story of Eden in the Book is symbolic. The tree symbolizes
the planes of existence as they rise from where we are, up to
where the Source of Life is. Woman, being created from
Mans "rib". The middle of his body. Shows women are not above
or below a man, but equal to him in the eyes of our Creator.
The Chittim mentioned in the Book, were the descendants of
Atlantis. The Red peoples. The Chittim mentioned in Daniel is
the USA. The land of the Red peoples today.
They were supposed to have a giant crystal they used for war, and it destroyed their civilization when it backfired.
Ezekiel 1:22 KJV.
It lies in the Bermuda Triangle today.

Just because God did not track for you the movement of all people out of the Garden of Eden, you would let that stumble you? People moved away. Some were faithful, some were not. Continents broke apart. Lots of things changed but God always remained the same.

Before Christianity spread, and during the ice age about 10,000 yrs. ago land between Alaska and Russia (the Bering Strait) was a frozen mass which allowed groups of people to migrate across and eventually spread South. These people migrated throughout the Americas, all the way to South America.

You ask things that cannot be found in the Bible.
It's a heart thing.
You must search your heart.
Personally, I think God created five peoples, not just one Adam, one Eve. The white, black, red, yellow, and brown skin.
That's just what I think but it really has nothing to do with you believing in God or not.
That's your business and like I said, search your heart, the answer is there.
This is a very seroius matter.
I hope that you do come to believe in God, he's there, sitting on the edge of his throne, waiting for you.

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock."

You are the only one who can answer your door.
He's knocking right now.
Know this much my friend, you are not alone.
What do you really search for?
Good luck and peace be with you.
