Six months ago I became attracted to one of the regulars at the bar I tended. He was also a mutual friend with a bunch of people I know. We started to chat a bit more frequently when he came in and I knew I was definitely forming a crush. I had always been so timid when it comes to dating guys-- I was never the pursuer. But this time I put myself out on a limb. I gave him my number, and with very subtle flirtation I let him know I was interested.
He's told me since that it was really attractive having a girl go after him like that. We continued dating and are now in a relationship and very much in love.
Don't be afraid to put yourself out there. I'm not saying to whore yourself out and wear demeaning outfits, but it's okay to be the one to start conversation and ask if he'd like to have a drink with you sometime. Give him your phone number. I think we live in a day and age where men enjoy to not always have to do the chasing! However if the date goes over well I'm sure you'll find he will begin chasing you a bit :)

I'm a guy and I'm shy, I think it would be alot easier for you too make a move than for him too do it. He might think he is not good enough for you so he will not make a move or he will take a long time to do so. Girls normally dont have the problem of thinking they are not good enough, so if I were you I would def make a move.

Make a move or else nothing will happen. But don't be too pushy or you'll scare him off. Be friendly, smile, flirt, have a chat and casually invite him round for dinner. Hope everything goes well for you x
