I don't believe in curses. I also don't believe in coincidence. I think that someone has it in for that family. I have no idea why.

I agree with Yupchagee the most here.

No I don't believe that there IS or ever was a curse on his family, there's a person or group of persons (quite possibly the Triads or Chinese Mafia) that (more than likely) had their hand in Bruce's and very much likely the possibility of Brandon's death in '93 ( because the Chinese Mafia often works in this way, they will kill the head of the household and the first child; especially if it is a male, but will not kill the wife or daughter and sometimes other children that're in the immediate family) due to the fact that Bruce tried to take the high road and be honorable about not getting involved with them when he was a film star in China. and there has been no attacks or attempts on his brothers, sisters or mother in China.

the official reports from the coroner indicated that Bruce died of Brain Edema (swelling of blood, in ths case it was in the brain which is a rare case in itself) but it was found that no arteries, veins, cappilaries etc. were blocked or broken so as to cause this or any other blood related injury to the brain such as anneurysm or stroke were not evident.

it was ruled that it was hypersensitivity to a dose of an equagesic pill he took for a head ache (at the apartment of a fellow actor /actress named Betty Tin Pei while they were discussing the story for another movie) and went to lie down to rest, and that was said to have caused the swelling, and thus ruled as a "death by misadventure".

Brandon died from a gunshot wound from a prop gun while filming a stunt in the final scenes from the first of The Crow movie series. Both father and son are buried in Seattle Washington.

it's been of a lot of speculation for many years that since he angered a lot of Martial Arts teachers in China by teaching non Chinese or even Non Asian people for that matter his discipline of Martial Arts and publicly announcing his views on classic or traditional disciplines in the Chinese Martial Arts, that they somehow pooled their efforts to have him removed from the equation as a warning to others.

Because in his early times in Seattle he'd been ordered to close his school for teaching other people who weren't of Asian descent Martial Arts and he flatly rejected their demands, which led to a fight against one of their best fighters at the time which he barely beat due to his decision to fight by the traditional Wing Chun discipline that was taught to him by his Sifu, Yip Man.

Which led him to further study other fighting disciplines ie (Greco-Roman)Wrestling, Western Boxing, Savate, Karate, etc. and eventually formulating Jeet Kune Do which only served to anger Chinese Martial Arts hierarchy further.

Dad died of a brain anurism, son died of an accident while shooting a film, two totally unrelated things. People die all of the time. Get over it.
