after installing you need to configure your firewall to allow limewire to work go to control panel and get in windows firewall then open exceptions add program and allow limewire.then go back to limewire open tools and click options then set it up the way you want it to work,they also have many good help files check them out,also make sure to have antivirus software set up and running.if you need more help let me know...another one to try is ares

Seems you have downloaded the `pro' version from some warez site.. i'd recommend that you download the `lite' version from limewire's website.. it will work.. btw do you have JRE (java runtime environment) installed.. it is required to make limewire work
