gall bladder is a gland situated below the largest gland of our body, the liver. after the production of bile by the liver. it is stored in the gall bladder because the liver has other functions to follow such storing glucose ,etc. from the gall bladder the bile is put into the small intestine through the common bile duct.(cbd)

it filters out toxins from the body- much like the liver. it can be removed from the body and you will still live - just can't eat a few things you were able to eat with a gall bladder.
