I need some help with a question that has been bothering me, here it is:
God created the world and everything in it, and then he made the Jews the chosen people and delivered them from slavery and out of Egypt to the holy land. God gave Isreal all sorts of holy prophets and other religious holy men, everything in the bible take place in the middle east.
While this was going on, when God was speaking to Moses and had him write the Torah, what were the chinese doing? why did God never even speak of them let alone to them? how come God never revealed his words to the chinese? why did he only talk to the arabic countries?
This is a serious question, I think I might be losing my religion and I need real answers.

I only singled out china because the ancient chinese never mentioned or wrote about God. This question works for any country that did not have God back then.

I can point you in direction that Christians will not like at all, my friend. Look at the Creation: it consists of possibly infinite number of parallel universes, each containing billions and billions of galaxies, each one with billions and billions of stars.
The only way the Bible can possibly be true, is if the God that Christians believe in is limited to the solar system or just this planet. I don't believe that is true at all. You have asked a very sensible question.
If there is one God (yes, I do believe that) then 'He' is the God of the whole Creation and we are but tiny little specks on the edge of one galaxy. What the Bible says only matters to the people who were alive when they wrote it - and they didn't know anything about astronomy or science as we know it.
This doesn't mean that the Bible is all rubbish - there is lots of wisdom in there about how to lead a good life and get on with your neighbours and all that. But when it comes to unscientific dogma and tortured theology, it's now time to take it all with a pinch of salt.
There are Christians who enjoy this kind of question and are not fightened of them. If you are interested, you could try the Quakers, the Bah'ai faith, Unitarians, the Progressive Christianity Network, etc.
Don't be frightened to 'think outside the box' - it's your divine intelligence to ask good questions and seek proper answers.

Consider base upon the convenant, being all-wise and all-powerful, the Most High God would be the proper One to offer or even to propose such a covenant with a nation of imperfect, sinful people. Under the circumstances, it would be fitting for Him to state the purpose of the covenant and to dictate its terms and to appoint a mediator to act between Him and men. He would set forth the conditions on which the covenant would continue and also choose the time for establishing such a covenant or compact.
When giving Abraham strong assurance that the divine promise would be fulfilled upon Abraham’s descendants, God said to him: “You may know for sure that your seed will become an alien resident in a land not theirs, and they will have to serve them, and these will certainly afflict them for four hundred years. But the nation that they will serve I am judging, and after that they will go out with many goods. ”—Genesis 15:13-16.
The Most High God did not force this covenant upon the Israelites. He left them free to choose whether to enter a covenant with him or not, even though he had saved them from Egypt and the Red Sea. Become a “special property” to Jehovah? Become “a kingdom of priests and a holy nation” to Him? Yes, that is what the Israelites then desired to do. Hence, when Moses told the representative men of the people about God’s proposed covenant, then, as we read, “all the people answered unanimously and said: ‘All that Jehovah has spoken we are willing to do.’” Moses now reported the decision of the people to Jehovah, who then proceeded with the establishing of the covenant as agreed to.—Exodus 19:7-9.
The 'Gentiles' did not accept this rather, like Pharaoh they rejected the true God and taunted the Israelites. (Exodus 4:21; 5:2) This is also seen in the fact that, associated with this king [Nimrod] and these cities were massive towers or stage-temples. The reason for the construction of the city of Babel and its tower is described in the Biblical account in the following manner: (See Gen. 11:4; Gen. 11:5-9; 10:25.

God does everything for a reason! He wishes no one to perish! Everyone will have the chance to hear Gods word before death! It's rather they receive it or not that determines their fate! I know a quite a few Chinese people that believe in the Lord! There are even people in their country that believe they just can't practice it in public over there! There are some Bibles written in Chinese, I've actually seen one! As I stated before they are just not mainstream because it is not allowed in their country! I will also say this, if you think that it is only for the middle east, then how do we know???? We are Americans! Do you get my point? Chinese people can be saved too! Not just Jews, All of us! I hope this helps you some. Don't fall away from God that would not be good! Study your Bible more, It clearly states that salvation is for the JEWS and Gentiles(which would be everyone that's not a JEW)! Everyone will have a chance to be saved! If you are this worried about Chinese people, study more and reach out to them, and tell them about JESUS! That way you know that they have been taught! Good Luck!!

You're literally supposed to believe that God had "His chosen," and that all others were insignificant. And in the bible, He sends His chosen out to conquer lands that were already inhabited, kill all the men and marry their wives. In other words, He is basically exactly like every other tribal totemic god.
Later, the Jewish tradition was hijacked by so-called "christianity," which was really a reformed paganism grafted on to this tradition. Christianity acquired political power and spread by force, and that's why we're all still supposed to take the Judeo-Christian legend literally (or at least seriously) today.
This tradition never takes anybody else into account, mostly because the world of its original proponents was a much smaller place. For the many different authors who composed the texts which became the bible, the "Arabic countries" were all they knew. I see a lot of pious idiots have brought up the "Tower of Babel" legend, so that they can claim that the people who became the Chinese (e.g.) had a chance at some remote period to follow the True God, but blew it. Well, if you want to believe in obvious fairly tales to justify your spiritual bigotry, I can't exactly stop you.
Of course, with modern advancements, "christians" have been able to broadcast their message all over the world, so that now they can say that nearly everybody on the planet has been offered salvation, and the ball's in our court.
I'm oversimplifying things to a ridiculous degree; but that's the gist.

God created the world and everything in it. And, of all the peoples in the world, he chose the Jews to represent him to the rest of the world. Not only did the Jews fail to represent him well, they also failed to accept his son and the sacrifice of his perfect life on their behalf. So, God divorced the Jews and chose Spiritual Israel to represent him and they have done well at getting the word to others (including the Chinese) and in remaining faithful. Perhaps you are familiar with Spiritual Israel. They are now known by humans as Jehovah's Witnesses.

You are right. What we read on the Bible is that it was always the Jews whom God speak with, what about other nationalities? I guess it all lies that during those time, there were no such thing as religion or nationalities. Everyone speaks the same dialect and all those stuff.
Asking questions about God is not that queer...what is really alarming is that you are losing your faith. Sometimes believing without seeing is much better than knowing it all.
God bless.

Ezekiel says, "I will show the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, the name you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD, declares the Sovereign LORD, when I show myself holy through you before their eyes." (Ez 36:23)
God did amazing things through Israel (plagues on Egypt, parting of Red Sea, walls of Jericho, and on and on). Israel was to be different from the world in how they lived...then the nations would KNOW of the Lord.
Israel didn't do a very good job living as God commanded, so that God could declare His glory through them. But the world, including the Chinese, knew of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob!
Today, Christians also don't do a very good job being light in this world. But in the same way, the world knows of Jesus.
Why did God choose Abram from Ur in the first place instead of Wo Kin Wong from China? God doesn't tell us. He chose Abram (Neh 9:7) and made His covenant with him (Gen 15:18). But that doesn't mean Mr. Wong is left in the cold. God offers salvation to everyone who believes.
