Which one gives you more of what you need? Even though the blast from the past has issues, does he also give you something to make it worth while to be with him? How about the older guy? Think about what you want, and if neither meets your needs for a healthy relationship, then drop them both by all means. They should have qualities that you value, not just needs and demands for you to satisfy. Good luck!

If you are asking this question then you should not be with either. You are not mature enough to have a relationship.
I do not mean this as an insult but we are dealing with peoples lives here and anyone that ends up in a relationship with you has the RIGHT to expect that you be the best possible human being you can. They have the right to a WOMAN of character, integrity, responsibility, and self respect. Some one how will hold THEIR emotional well-being as sacred.
If you do not posses ALL of those qualities, then put the coin back in your pocket, let both of them go, be honest about it, take responsibility, and get to work on yourself.

Age is just a number. Don't hold on to what you know (#1) just because it's comfortable. And know that everyone has issues. You just don't know #2's yet. Also, don't commit to anyone if you don't know what you truly want, it will only lead to hurt on all accounts. Good luck and happy dating!
