get over you because if he doesnt let go now he never will and that he just likes you because your the first one he ever really liked, what does it mean?

It sounds like he is attached to you, especially since you were the first girl he loved, but that he also wants to explore and meet new people. His breaking up with you has more to do with his need to experience other people and see what's out there--not because he doesn't like you anymore. If he did stay, he would always wonder if he missed something by sticking with the first one. I would give him his space, and definitely take some of your own. He might see what's out there and realize what a catch he had in you and beg you to have him back. Be his friend, but don't sit around waiting for him. Go out and have fun, and who knows you may find someone better and be oh so glad he wanted things this way. Good luck!

Well, he can't love you or he would never want to let you go. It sounds like a bit of an easy let-down. There's no way he would let you go if he loved you!!

An easy let down. He's just trying to soften the news. It's time to move on and find someone who'll really love you. This one isn't worth it.

this to me sounds like all talk because if he loved you then he would want to be with you. to me it sounds fishy and i wouldnt fall for it just move on and dont waist your time with him....
