Each and every woman body are very different. Some people gain a lot of weight some don't gain much at all. When i was 24 weeks i had only gain 3lbs, now im 32 weeks in total i have gain about 7lbs. My prenatal nurse had told me that i was gaining very lil weight and since last time i seen her she mention that my weight is almost getting where i am suppose to be but, ur weight is perfectly fine. Congratz :)

Yes, it is possible to gain 10 pounds in a week. I knew a guy in highschool who gained at least 10 pounds every Thanksgiving holiday! All that turkey, mashed potatoes and delicious desserts (and sleeping right after consuming it) can really add on the weight fast! I know that turkey makes you sleepy, and sleeping right after eating a big meal is a sure way to put on the pounds.

You're teacher could get sued for allowing you guys to do that. And is she dumb? First of all DON'T DO IT!!!!! When you gain weight your body PRODUCES MORE FAT CELLS. They don't just get bigger (they do at first but then your body makes more to allow for more storage). Do you know what that means? You will have more fat cells than you did before this project AND for the rest of your life it will be harder to keep these additional fat cells to remain smaller than it is to prevent it all together. So your teacher is basically allowing you to start a struggle that would stay with you forever. It's not going to be easy to lose that weight and you need to tell your principal that this is happening.

no you cant... you can gain 10 pounds in two weeks... i have done that by eatin lots of fast food. But that shouldnt be a science project allowed for school. IT messes with a students health and life. That should actually be illegal unless you are in a higher education school (after high school)

I'm surprised your teacher would allow that since it could be dangerous?

Yes, you can gain 10 pound in a week including water, but not 10 pounds of pure fat.

Like everyone else has said thats dangerous!
I heard that an actor gained 30 pounds in 30 days.
I say dont excersise at all and just keep stuffing your face with fast food and gross fatty stuff.
I wouldnt do it!

That would be really hard to do, you would have to eat just junk food(candy, chips, things with lots of fat and sugar) and drink only soda and drinks with lots of sugar. You could became very unhealthy at the end of the week.

Eat at least 3 packs of poptarts every day.
Sugar turns into fat really fast, plus poptarts have 400 calories.
Hope this helps

Do what the documentary filmmaker did in "Supersize". Eat all of your meals at McDonalds. You'll inflate like a balloon !
