When you are 8 like when I was, I'll never forget it, I remember it being very dark with a chill in the air, I was alone in the room, my hands working instictively, causing my cheeks to redden, my breath to rasp through my teeth and then it hit me .... a million tiny explosions cascading down my body sending out ripples of bliss down to my extremities, until those ripples became waves of wild animal passion, it was then terrified at what I had done that I grabbed a hammer and smashed the head of my appendage, yes it was painful, horribly so. I couldn't do it again so what must have then seemed ages but which was in reality about two hours. Phew, damn I do miss those early experimental days.
