It really depends on the state or county.....But it would say on the back of the ticket. Last one i got was 7 business days. And then I could plead it in court in front of a judge. Then a judge could offer a new time period to pay a fine.

Plead not guilty - send it in - get it reduced - pay a lower fine and less points.

If you want to plead guilty - fill out the back, send it in and the court will tell you what fine to pay and how much.

It depends on where your court is most of the time it's 15 days, and here in va. if you don't pay on time they suspend your license.
