Hi guys,
Before you suggest I go with a friend, I'm actually going to be alone in this trip, so its a no-can do. I'm not staying in a hostel or anything either, (where it's possible, that I'd meet English speaking people around my age of 21 or so), I'll be in a hotel close to the Vatican.

Of course you can!!! Europe is a beautiful and friendly place (especially Italy!) and you'll meet people once in the bar/club etc! Just be friendly and polite. A few words of Italian wouldn't go amiss either, if you have time to learn!
