Set yourself up with a schedule and plan like a school or daycare would. Put together a schedule with time for reading, watching TV, playing outside (you can do this almost all year even in a gentle rain you can go for a walk), crafts, lunch and snack times, game time. Look into some "dance along" DVDs or kid exercise DVDs...for days when it's too bad to go out. They can all help you make cookies for Christmas, and crafts to make simple Christmas gifts are great this time of year...there are tons of books and magazines with 1000's of ideas of inexpensive things to do....

Good old fashioned games are great for all ages...twister, checkers, domino's, chutes & ladders, uno, monkeys in a barrel....

If it's nice outside spend time outdoors, it makes the time go by fast and can exhaust the kids (bonus if the 4 year old is still napping!) Go to the park, take a walk, draw with chalk or play games outside. If the weather is not looking as though it's going to co-operate then try these ideas.
-Cooking/Baking is always fun plus it takes up time and you get something delicious to eat. A favorite at our house is chocolate chip cookies.
-You could do art projects, anything from just simply coloring with crayons and markers to begining to make Thanksgiving Art Decorations. If there are paper plates you could use that as the body for a turkey and then cut out feathers from construction paper. You can also trace their hands or feet to make turkeys.
-Leaf Projects are also fun, while you are outside collect different leaves and then use them to make fun projects; here is a fun idea: http://jas.familyfun.go.com/crafts?page=CraftDisplay&craftid=11527
-If they have apples and paint you can make apple prints:

instead of a bag you could just do this on paper

Finally this is a great website with great resources, you can put in the age of the child, what they are interested in and that you are a babysitter and it will give you a bunch of ideas. You can do it 3 times and get ideas for all three kids.

Have fun, time will go quickly if you are all keeping busy!

You'll have a better time if you don't think of yourself as being "stuck". If you don't like babysitting, then don't do it because it's not fair to the kids.

You can divide the day into inside/outside play, watch a 2 hour movie, play board games (Candyland), play card games (Go Fish), make Playdough, go to a neighborhood park?

What did you enjoy doing as a kid? Do that.

If you consider yourself "stuck" doing it, maybe you shouldn't be doing it . . . . ? Kids are fun. Enjoy it.
