bonfire night is a celebration here in England...this year is the 401st anniversary and it comes from the plot to blow up the houses of parliament ...guido(guy )fawkes and some others plotted to blow them up and they were caught and duly executed ,lol...where i live it is huge...we are expecting 80,000 to join the celebrations today...there are huge processions of everything from pioneers to indians,zulus,pirates,tudors,etc...they carry torches and burning crosses through the streets and it culminates in throwing massive effigies of guy fawkes and pope john paul V onto a huge bonfire...or exploding them...and then the biggest fireworks display ever....i know it sounds macabre and it is a bit but its a part of our history and im right in the middle of it...its awesome...bonfire night is actually tomorrow but the bonfire societies dont do sundays,lol..;0)

my wittyness. Bonfire night is when a man called Guy Fawkes to tried to blow up the king in the houses of parliament in london but he was caught and executed now we burn a "guy" on a fire every year on the 5th November and have fireworks.

Yay bonfire! Dynamite? Not sure, I don't blow up easy. Would be sense of humour I guess. I use it often to control difficult situations.

I'm like a little kid on bonfire night. I love it. Sparklers, fire works, toffee apples, marshmallows and of course the bonfire.
