When I go for really long walks, I get out of breath quite fast. I don't have any breating difficulties, its just thatI'm not fit enough. I love playing basketball, and am in my schools club, but its not helping a lot. Most gyms cost loads and are for grown-ups, so I can't join.
Please help

well im a lazy 15 year old guy so heres how i stay in shape... if you like basketball, go to wal-mart get one of those hoops that you can put over your garage and just shoot baskets. running is probably the simplest thing you could do, but i hate running so id never do that (not to discourage you, alot of people like running). I skateboard alot so that keeps me in shape... well from all of this what im trying to say is find out wat u like to do physically and do it alot, its as simple as that. maybe convince ur parents to get you a trampoline, thats a really good workout and thats always fun, plus as an added bonus you could invite friends over and have a trampoline party

You should go to the library to get books on physical fitness. Design a program for half hour every other day. You should start slowly. It will take around 10 weeks to see some results. Also stick with your program. Also, a good magazine is Women Fitness.

Good luck on your program.

Swimming. There are municipal pools (YWCA, local Universities, etc) that have adult swim time for people who just want to do some laps. A few of those every week will tone you up fast.
