hind sight is 20/20. It means that things always look clearer after the fact.

Another one is...if I knew then what I know now!

Hind Sight is 20/20. (20/20 means perfect vision)

Means if you knew then, what you know know, you would have done it differently, to get the outcome you wanted. (or)

The situation is always clearer when you're looking back at it.

Example:
When you're young and in high school, you pretty much think that's life, you party, skip classes and maybe you don't get good grades. Then it's time to apply for college and those grades mean a lot to get into the college of your choice. If you had known that early in high school, you would have studied more and partied less to get the grades you need to get into the college of your choice.

Hindsight is 20/20. Hindsight is when you look back on something that has already happened. 20/20 is perfect eyesight.
So, you put the two together. People say hindsight is 20/20 when they want to say - they look back at something which happened, and can figure out what went wrong, for example. Whereas, in the moment, you may not see it. When you look back, it is clearer.

Hind sight is 20/20.

20/20 vision is perfect vision. And it means that after we've done something that didn't work out correctly, afterward, we can see why it didn't work. You see perfectly when your looking backward at your mistakes. Okay?

it means.basically, that you can see what was wrong in a situation or problem after it is already over. Sort of like looking back and knowing what you would have done differently to make things right.

To me it means that someone has a great instinct on what is happening around them or with other people. The can read between the lines and not just see what is in front of them.

It means after something has happened you can always look back and see how things could have been handled differently possibly even better.
