no it's a superstition I've stepped on cracks, broke 3 mirrors, I walked under a ladder, a black cat crossed my path three times. I'm fine and my mom's back is fine as well.

Hello there: This is an old wife's tale.
The reason this was started was in the 18th century one of the most expensive pieces of furniture was a mirror. The cause for the expense was because unlike today where the backing (to give you a mirror image) is made out of cheap materials, the backing in the early centuries were made out of Stirling silver.
This comment by the wealthy "if you break a mirror is 7 years of bad luck" was so the servants and maids would be careful with a very expensive piece of property.
Thanks

I broke a mirror and thought nothing of it. Granted not everything that has happened since then was bad, but I had a lot of bad luck in that time span including a drunk driver putting a scar on my forehead & broke my jaw & murdering my brother & grandmother on a Sunday MORNING when we were going to church. Of all the cars that could have been hit they hit ours. Then my mother and grandfather, who survived the accident, died of cancer. Now I'm the only one of my immediate family left.
Coincidence? Who knows!

If you believe that it will give you bad luck, it probably will. And i'm not some kind of fairy tail people whos all like "beeelliiieeve" but seriously, if you think negatively all the time, negative things will happen. You're mind can trick you into thinking that you can't do things, and then you will just stop trying, thus having "bad luck". But if you think positively, you're mind will trick you into trying harder and most likely being successful in alot of things that you do. So, good luck!

it genuinely relies upon on no count number if or no longer you wreck the mirror on purpose or by utilising twist of destiny.. in case you do it purposfully then the respond is sure.. you have got seven years of undesirable success.. info of that is that once you wreck the mirror.. you could no longer see your self thoroughly.. in actuality you would be able to dissapear thoroughly.. oh you have got the means to be certain products of your self yet no longer all of your self.. that's the 1st little bit of undesirable success.. the 2d is which you considering you could purely see products of your self then you definately won't comprehend what you seem as though as an entire person.. 0.33 is which you will no longer have the means to primp, fourth is that in case you're a male and can't primp.. you would be able to land up looking like a pimp.. 5th is that by utilising the time you restoration or replace the mirror you have probably spent your extra money on a sparkling mirror and you will have elderly, 6th is that considering you have elderly and can't remember the way you looked till now you broke the mirror..you could no longer seem as in the experience that your old self.. and 7th..that's the worst of all.. once you look on the mirror.. you will possibly no longer recognize your self and that ought to reason you to think of which you're somebody else.. probably somebody which you do no longer even comprehend.. and it ought to prove which you're particularly a pimp afterall.. no count number if that is unintentional.. then none of that different stuff will count number.. considering you will no longer blame your self for by twist of destiny breaking the mirror so that is going to likely be greater ordinary to relpace it. as quickly as that is replaced and you look interior the mirror.. you could say.. hi.. i haven't replaced somewhat.. ergo you will no longer go through..

OK, 1 minute ago you broke one and asked this question. Are you still alive and reading my answer? I would say don't be superstitious (if I spelt it right)
