If it starts off online and then the two people meet and establish a connection, then I think a real relationship can be formed. But I don't think you can fall in love over the net only. You need to hear the person's voice and see them in all their glory.

YES, it is another form of communication, just like talking, speed dating, blind dates.
in order for a relationship to come from this you need to be completely honsest with each other. however you need to be aware that not all relationships can come from online chatting. you need to stay safe and make sure you know the dangers involved if someone is too foward or is too open to do anything.

it can result in a real relationship.. of course, u gotta b real careful cz u cant trust the person completely.. it may b some crook.. some impostor.. but in certain cases, it does hav a fairytale ending!!

some times yes but other times no cause on the internet you don't have a big idea what the 0other person looks like and sometimes when you meet that person you tend to not like the person that much.
