Holiness is achievable, Read LEV.20:7 Romans 12:1 & 1st Tim.2:8 Just for a few verses, Jesus will only come back for a Bride that has NOT wrinkle, Spot, or Blemish. Eph.4:11-15 speaks of the perfecting of the Bride

Jesus is Holy. Man is not. We are in the process of being made holy. We will not be holy until we enter into the kingdom. We will only finally be made holy in Jesus once He comes again to establish His Kingdom here on earth. This holiness is not man's. Every deed that is done in the flesh is evil, weither it be good or bad in nature. We must do all things unto God. We shouldn't do anything out of ourselves. We need to do Godly works in faith as they are assigned to us by God the Father.
We are only holy in Jesus Christ because He is holy. When we are holy it will be Jesus' holiness that we share.
Don't get me wrong. We start to share in Jesus holiness when we come to God the Father through Jesus. Salvation is progressive. The spirit is saved when we confess Jesus as Lord and repent of our sins. The soul is being saved by the washing of the Word. The Word is not just the bible. The Word is the Person of Jesus Christ.
Joh 1:1-4
(1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
(2) The same was in the beginning with God.
(3) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
(4) In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Jesus gives us His holiness so that we can come boldly to the throne room of God.
God Bless

To see it as something that is achievable is missing the point.
Each and every one of us are children of God. This makes us holy. All that anyone need do is realizes this about themselves and start acting like what they are. Parts of God.
It's not that difficult unless you see it as some distant goal, that it is not.
Love and blessings Don

Not this side of the grave because humans still have sinful nature. We can strive to be holy if we allow Jesus to rule in us. But holliness won't be achieved until we get our glorified bodies.

Its a sad truth, but holiness is unachieavble. We were all born with a "sin nature"- that means by nature, we want to sin.
KNow whats kinda unfair about this? We never chose to sin, we never wanted this nature... we were given it.
But you know what is even MORE unfair?
Gods grace.
God has given us a wey out of this sin... and sure sometimes we will still sin, but we are redeemed by his blood... that is, Jesus died for you, and he took your place in hell.
anyways, when you accept Jesus christ as your saivor, you are washed in his blood... and even though you stil sin, you are perfect in his sight!
like imagine this. you murdered a guy, and you go to prison for it. You ask jesus to forgive you for it, and in his mind, you are not a murder anymore. But in the legal court system, they dont care who has forgiven you, you still killed a man.
See what i mean?
Imagine for a minute that youre a slave... youre half naked on the auctioning block, bruised and broken hearted... people are all bidding on you, and youre afraid to see who you will go to next. Undoubtedly, you will be seperated from your family, but the worst part is the grip that sin has on you... no matter what anyone bids, satan bids higher and higher.
Youre at about thirty bucks... you feel so worthless that youre being sold for that low. The auctioneer calls "going....going..."
and just before he sells you, Jesus steps in and says "Wait. Hes mine."
The crowd is shocked... why would he want a dirty salve like you?(no offense)
but he does.
"Whats your bid sir?" The auctioneer asks impatiently
"Whatever it takes" he replies.
Satan cant out bid that...becasue Jesus's love is so strong. Thats the beauty of grace.

there is no way to achieve holiness. holiness stems from an overactive ego that tells some people that they are better than others.
