Aspergillus is a fungi (same family as the mushrooms). Its spores are common on dusty surfaces. In hospitals, these spores "hides out" in ceiling tiles. When the ceiling tiles are replaced, the disturbance spreads the spores of this fungi. When these spores are inhaled by people, they come into contact with moisture, and thrive.
Aspergillus is the main cause of the disease aspergillosis, which can infect the outer ear canal, dead skin from burns, and the lungs. It can spread to the nervous system and other organs.
It can be life threatening to those with weak immune systems (as people with AIDS).
Amoxicillin is an antibiotic, and current practice guidelines do not mention this as a treatment for this disease. (http://www.journals.uchicago.edu/CID/journal/issues/v30n4/991226/991226.html )
It is possible that it was used at one time, but now aspergillus is immune to it. Or it was never used. I don't know, to be honest.
Hoping this helps!

A relationship between an atheist and an agnostic would probably work better than between either one and a Christian.
