You can not erase someones memory. Even if you did then the truth would come out sooner or later and that would be worse. Whatever happened just be brave and deal with the consequences. Try to be more careful of what you do.

Erasing memory? Well, I don't think that's possible without them being consenting. Meaning you'll have to face the music one way or another. How bad was the compromising position? If it was that bad they may not want to talk about it in the first place and it will be like it never happened. However, there will be some tension between you. MY guess would be to just come out and talk to the person about it. Apologize if need be and get this over with ASAP. The longer it stays inside the more and more it will grow so get it out now, and what happens, happens.

Good luck! :]

You have to put the memory in a virtual box, tie it up with a virtual ribbon, put it on a shelf in your virtual storeroom, and lock the door on it! Now forget it - don't even think about the future, and don't even think about the past - just move on. Most people have been seen in compromising positions that embarrass them when they think about it - you are not alone there are millions like you.

Sorry, I've forgotten..

..what was the "compromising situation" anyway? Hand in the biscuit tin compromising or hanging out the back of a horse compromising?

We all have different levels of compromised, personally I would face the music. You obviously don't want to. Speak to this person and see if they will stay quiet about it. you would be surprised at the number of people who really don't care what you've done. If they won't then I would fix whatever I did, it just isn't worth the worry.
Other than that, deny, deny, deny.

I know the answer to this one, I know I do, but just cant seem to recall. What the heck did that guy do to me the other day? I just cannot seem to remember anyhing these days.

Other than a gun, I guess handing a wad of used banknotes into their sweaty palm might go some way to erasing their vivid memory.

Hypnotism probably, though it isn't very ethical and no respectable practicioner would use it for this purpose in the same way that they wouldn't use it to make members of the opposite sex go to bed with them. It could definately be done though, if you knew what you were doing, but playing with the human mind is not for amateurs.

You can't erase a memory, you are going to have to face up to your actions and hope that you can move on.

bribery or murder
you cant erase soemones memory after the event. the only option for future reference is
1) give them some rhohypnol before the event you want to erase - this may have some other potential uses too, but I'll leave it to you to work that out
2) make the event SO traumatic, that their subconcious will bury the event and not allow them to remember it
