I have a Cinnamon Pied and she loves fruits and veggies. I give her everything except advocados and chocolate. Both of these will kill your little cockatiel. Also do not give it any caffeine or carbonated ( soda pop ) drinks. Just keep trying different types of fruits and veggies every day and birdie will let you know which ones it loves. A treat from the pet store like Millets they love. If you are afraid to give your little one anything they have prepared fruits and veggies at any pet store until you get the hang of it. Good luck from one bird person to another.

Well, I have 5 birds, 2 of which are cockatiels. Telling you about the veggies and fruits probably wouldn't mean much to you because I live in the Far East where fruits and veggies are different. Asides from the seeds and water, I give them a few drops of vitamins in the water, and give them all some grass to chew on. It seems that grass has vitamins and minerals that they need.
Maybe I'll try papaya, mangos, watermelon, or sweet potato leaves on them next. :-)

Mine loves Iceberg lettace, Granny smith apples, Mangos. Really they can eat any fruits and veggies. But most of the time they will go after things more colorful and in little peices. Just make sure to stay away from avocados. Also maybe look into timmothy hay. Mine loves to chew on it. You can find it in the small animal section of a petstore.

There are alot of fruits and vegis cockatiels eat, although fruits are not one of their favorites. You can go to the following web site that will tell you what you can and cannot feed your cockatiel.
