Put up YOUR favorite colors....only pick out the ones that are bright. Don't forget to use primer first. Brighter colors are more expensive than the duller ones. If you use primer you won't have to use as much paint.
Paint stripes, boxes, circles. Pick out a wall wallpaper of a design and work around that. They have cool ones now of the planets/universe, mountains, desert scenes etc. So many ideas, so little space.

I would have to go with red. Red is a bright but also warm color that resembles wild. Good luck on the wall problem and hope you get that intense color your going for :D

I have always wanted to be able to paint a wall or room any color I wanted to . I think it would be really great to see a purple room with different color pokadots then do stripes as a border.

go with a fabulous green - not olive but not neon either. green has sooooooooooo many fabulous hues that pick up so many other highlights - and with its warmth you can feel its energy each time you come in the room. couldnt hurt to add some opposites in there too - orange family would add a great POP!
