i have a siameese boy on the non active register does anyone know how i go about putting him on the active register

You need to contact the breeder of your Siamese boy & see if she or he will agree to him being on the active register. Then she or her will need to write to the relevant registration body to get his status changed & you will probably need to pay a fee.

She may not be keen to do so as she probably sold him to you as a pet - so you might need to be able to demonstrate to her what an asset he would be to the gene pool - perhaps he has won lots of prizes at Cat Shows?

But, please do some research into what it is like to keep an entire male cat, a stud boy before you go down this route. They can be smelly & noisy & they might need to have a regular supply of girls to keep them happy.

ITYM Siamese. It's up to the breeder to put him on the active register. Since she didn't I can only assume that she never intended he was to be bred from and sold him chepaer than if he was of breeding quality and on the register.

ok had same problem with my ragdoll
you need to contact the breeder and talk it through with her. only she can change the register
