Do my teddy bears and bunnies and stuffed snakes and whatnot have souls? Um, no, I don't believe so. But I don't care, I love them anyways and I'll most likely still have them well into my elder years. Even if they don't HAVE souls, they are surprisingly therapeutic FOR the soul!

It's impossible to guarantee that all girls will like some particular kind of soft toy. A lot of girls may enjoy Care Bears, but some may think they're dumb. Some girls may even toss the thing at your head because they can't believe you'd be so clueless as to think that they'd enjoy any kind of stuffed animal. Pay attention to what kind of animals she likes, if any. She may think teddy bears or great, or she may prefer a dog, or she may like some odd animal like a giraffe or a manta ray. A trip to the Build-A-Bear Workshop is a great idea if you're fairly certain she'd like a stuffed animal and that they'll have one she'd enjoy. As with any kind of gift, the more you keep the individual person in mind, the better received your gift will be.

the other day where i work a little girl came in looking for a stuffed toy she had seen a couple days before and couldn't find it. I had seen it and pointed her in the right direction. When she say it she grabbed it and hugged it with a big smile on her face and Grandma took girl over to buy it. Maybe not a soul but something attracts people(not just children) to certain inanimate things - it makes our souls feel better.

Ok, well just to clarify, souls DO exist.
People define "soul" differently, because the real definition is one some people hate to hear.
Humans have souls. and thats all... animals dont have souls, even though they can think and feel...
incase you havent noticed, theres a BIG difference between humans and animals. and even between humans and gorillas.
Yeah god created the animals, but he did something special for us...he "formed us out of the dust" and breathed life into us, and created us in his own image.
While God just sopke the word and animals were created, im sure he could have done the same for us... but he didnt. He took his time!
We are his most amazing creation... and we have souls.
We know the difference between right and wrong- and jesus died for us, only us.
If youre a christian, a born again christian, then you will be in heaven one day.
What im about to say isnt mentioned in the bible- there might be pets in heaven.
But it does say that in heaven we will have all the comforts we want, which include animals... and stuffed animals.

LOL. "Souls". Good one.
No such thing, of course. But if we're going to live in a world in which we ban medical research over such imaginary nonsense, then sure, why not say that teddy bears have 'em too?

not fully formed souls, they are dependant on their owners--it's a bonding process, where the human infuses the toy with energy and personality and in a sense, gives it a spark of life

no, they are make from material with accessories to make them look real. they look really cute/sweet for kids to like them and feel they are real and help their imagination; make them believe they are real. anything man made has no soul.
