I don't think your environmental views have any effect on the amount of pollution you generate by travelling, so it would have the same impact on reducing climate change as any other person who stopped travelling around the world.

You'd be hard put to (credibly) deny that travel has a negative impact on the environment, the question is whether or not environmentalists have enough success at changing attitudes and practices in the areas they visit to offset the negative impact of their own travel.

Just want to say this. Global Warming is a myth taken too seriously. In a recent study scientist found out that in the past 30 years the earths temperature has risen less than one degree!!! And guess what in the 60's it did the same thing and in the 30s it lowered a degree. So what does this show us. That the temperature will flutuate one degree ever 30 or so years. Global Warming is SO overated.

I dont know if that is a serious question, but I think it is hysterically funny. There is a certain irony in environmentalists contributing to global warming.

Not very likely. The whole concept of Global Warming is based on unreliable evidence. If it had to convict someone in court, it would get thrown out. Research foundations, calculate their evidence from previous records, and predict WHAT could happen-not scientific facts.
