Make a simplified butter chicken

half a kilo of chicken fillet cubed
marinate in the following for abt an hour
1 tablespoon garlic
half a tablespoon ginger
2 tablespoons ground red chilli (less if you dont like it too hot)
2 tablespoons plain yoghurt
salt to taste

fry 2 small onions in abt 100 gr butter with half a teaspoon cumin seeds, 5 curry leaves and 2 whole green chillies until the onions just start to colour.
Add the chicken and simmer til the chicken is fully cooked (Add some water if necessary)
When the chicken is cooked add a tub of double cream (250ml)
Turn up the heat til the sauce thickens
Garnish with fresh chopped cilantro
Serve hot with bread rolls, naans or chappatis or even rice

you can get frozen bags of pastas ravioli, tortellini get some gourmet sausages chicken/apple, Gouda/chicken, artichoke/chicken, a bag of stir fry veggies saute all separate then toss together some of the pastas come with sauce use them if not , you can add a can of stewed tomatoes use less of the juice it will be to watery. or if you guys like mushrooms saute some shrooms alot of them as they cook down slowly add heavy cream til you get a nice thick sauce.... enjoy

Thai food is great and not too difficult to put together if you can get all the bits and pieces. We like a good Thai green curry - pop all the curry paste ingredients into the blender then add your favourite meat or vegge and coconut cream. Easy to find lots of different recipes for Thai curries online.

if you rarely do rice meals i would suggest you make one hearty rice meal. cook some rice. then for viand, you can use pork (cut into cubes), or chicken (cut into small portions) or cook both in vinegar and soysauce. don't forget to crush some garlic and peppercorn and rub it on the meat before you put the 1/4 cup vinegar and 1/2 cup soy sauce. you may add water to adjust the taste. then let it cook for about 20 minutes or as soon as pork/chicken is cook. you may want it a little dry so you may let it simmer some more. it is a very simple, no-fuss ,yet so tasty menu. for a little twist, as soon as your chicken or pork is cooked, you may want to put some crushed pineapple, to give it a sweet, hawaiian blend. go try it!

You didn't say what you usually eat... I season chicken thighs differently every time. Ditto for pork chops or tenderloin. I rarely make the same thing twice a month.

I like to make sweet chilli potato's , you need some sweet chilli dipping sauce and some small baby potato's par boil or put in microwave for 5 mins then cut in to disc's place on baking tray pour over the sweet chilli dipping sauce and bake on high for about 20 mins they go all crispy and gooey and are great with something plain like chicken to liven it up
