Julia Child is my all time favorite. I loved her even growing up, and have seen so much history about her, it's amazing. I've met her a few times in person as well. . . . .But I think for new modern chefs, I would say either Paula Deen or Ina Garden.

my favorite is a actually someone who is deceased now Justin Wilson. He was from the south and added humor with his southern recipes and lots of wine,(LOL!) He can still be found on some of the pbs stations depending on where you're from, he has recipes on the internet too.

I have loved watching Julia Childs since I was about 3 years old.
("Mom, lets watch Julie the Child!")
Such a great variety of recipes, and such enthusiasm!
And I learned that mistakes are okay to make, as she did now and then. Good memories.

it would either have to be Keith Floyd or Gordon Ramsay.
The former because of his antics with a bottle of wine and the latter because he hasn't sold out like the rest of them, and he's cute.
Can I just add that I think Jamie Oliver is a bit of a tit!

I would have to say it's a toss up between Rachael Ray or Nigella Lawson. They aren't afraid of screwing up.
