Unnatural lusts of the flesh are an abomination to God. Shed these lusts in your life, and follow Christ. And you'll be just fine. Ignore the people who throw hellfire & brimstone in your face, when they themselves are sinners. They are hypocrites to cast the first stone at anybody. Simply humble yourself before God, repent, and he'll change your path in life for the better. This is what Christ taught us.

There is a controversy over this issue in the Christian denominations...some do accept gays and they are usually known as "welcoming and affirming" congregations. You will find acceptance and a loving atmosphere for gays and lesbians in those types of congregations....and a little research on the web by typing in "welcoming and affirming Christian churches" without the quote marks will bring up the information that you seek....I tried it just now and that will work.
Some do not, because the Bible appears to condemn this practice. These are some of the mainline denominations.
It is my belief that I cannot know someone's heart like God can and God is love and loves everyone....I will love everyone as He gives me the love in my heart to do so and leave the judgement to God and the judgementalism to others.

As far as the "Christian" religions are concerned, you'd think they would be opposed to homosexuality since the Bible condemns it throughout. But that is not the case. More and more churches are taking a more liberal view toward the gay lifestyle. Now, many of those churches either tolerate gays or even accept them into their ranks. Some churches even elect gays into positions of oversight in their congregations. Clergymen are also trying to have laws that prohibit same-sex marriages overturned.
No matter what a person's vices are, there is always some church that will accept them.

I do not buy into the gay gene but I also have many friends who are gay/lesbian and I love them dearly. The bible says plainly that homosexuality is a sin but it also says love the sinner not the sin. So, if it is a true church they should allow you to join in, but I would be prepared for some people to perhaps try to talk you out of your lifestyle. Be comfortable in the skin you are in and just know that no man alive can be your judge without being perfect themselves and above judgement. If anyone tries to tell you differently you can politely tell them that what you do is going to be between you and God to deal with and they will have to answer to the same God for their own transgressions. Hope all goes well.

Well, any Christian church that is worth its salt is accepting of you, as a person. However, you cannot join a church unless you are born again. (i.e. accept Jesus into your life) Not joining a church doesn't mean you cannot attend, I highly recommend you and everyone else attend, but the same churches that are worth their salt will tell you that the lifestyle you are leading is sinful.
The rest is between you and God.

Most religions tend to dismiss homosexuality as a mistake and a "abomination" to all societies. I personally believe that people who choose and live a gay lifestyle are part of the nature and balance of human beings who live on earth. Although most of us are born heterosexual to help procreate and populate our species, homosexuals play a part to even the amount of human beings being born, since most of them don't/won't/can't have kids. In the end, it's fate, nature, and the earth itself balancing everything and everyone. But if your seriously interested in gaining spirituality in your life, I would suggest you pursue beliefs that doesn't criticize and condemn your choice of lifestyle. (Buddhism, Wiccan and/or Pagan, Druidism, etc)

God says that it is UNNATURAL. A sin. You need to repent, ask for forgiveness, and stop. There are many books written by people who used to think they were gay, and they relized it was a sin and stopped!
As a christian I would welcome you to a group study, but I would encourge you to study the parts fo the bible that show that your lifestyle is a sin, and apply what God says about sin to your life. (the same goes for me and everyone else who knows they are sinning, and apart from God)
Remeber in Christianity you can't just belive or follow one part of the Holy Bible....Its all or none.
