The US could invade anyone it wants to, including Mexico or up here in Canada. the question is: why would they?

I DO NOT think Bush invaded Iraq... The American colllition invaded Iraq. It seems to me it was a decision of the present administration to form the colloition and invade. Bush himself has not done any invading so call it like it is. The Bush administration made the decision to invade and yes they could do the same for any country but I do not think that would be a good idea.

The US has invaded Mexico before in the American-Mexican War of 1850. We should have annex Mexico then, but President Polk said no. We could overrun Mexico today in no time, but I do not think that it would be to our advantage to do so. It would be better to allow them to voluntarily become apart of the US, along with Canada as the United States of North America.

I guess my question would be...What in the flying nachos does invading Mexico have to do with the problem of immigration??? Do you even listen to yourself when you think?? If we invade...what would we get? Nothing?
We would have to PAY them for damages incurred during the invasion...then we would have to deal with more economic Sanctions brought down on us by the rest of the world...by the way...how could we recover our global reputation when it is already so badly damaged.

I apologize for being short with you, but there is much more involved with the immigration problem than just borders...our government sides with insurance companies using contractor employing illegals...this keeps prices down but maximizes profits...many industries use illegal labor (to the benefit of those in office) to lower costs but increase profits...it is the government and big business that has opened the flood gates... do not blame the Mexican worker...blame the people that welcome them with open arms to the detriment of Natural citizens.

Mexico has oil doesn't it? Don't count out anything as long as we have oil mongering leaders in the White House. But on the other hand Mexico is already invading us.
But they haven't taken anyone's job that I can see. If they leave they will create new jobs that pay slave wages. No, I think all of the Republican outsourcing is the reason you don't have a job.

Mexico is not trying to eradicate us. U.S. citizens have no fight with Mexicans. We simply object to supporting illegals with medical care, education, dishonest employers and jailing their criminals.

You are absurd to equate Mexico with Iraq.
